Kurz gesagt
Instead sammelt keine personenbezogenen Daten. Es gibt kein Konto, keinen eigenen Server, keine Werbung und keine Analyse- oder Tracking-Tools. Alles, was die App sich merkt, bleibt ausschließlich auf deinem Gerät.

Welche Daten die App speichert
Folgende Informationen werden nur lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert, damit die App funktioniert. Sie werden nicht an uns oder Dritte übertragen:
- Fortschritt: gesammelte Minuten, Anzahl erledigter Aktivitäten, deine Tage-Serie und der Tag der letzten erledigten Aktivität
- Ob die App freigeschaltet ist
Deine Auswahl (Zeit und Kategorien) wird nicht gespeichert. Du kannst die lokalen Daten löschen, indem du in den Android-Einstellungen den Speicher der App leerst oder die App deinstallierst. Android kann App-Daten im Rahmen der System-Sicherung („Auto-Backup“) in deinem Google-Konto sichern; das steuerst du in den Android-Einstellungen, und es gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Google.
In-App-Kauf über Google Play
Die ersten Aktivitäten sind kostenlos. Danach wird Instead über einen einmaligen Kauf freigeschaltet, der vollständig über Google Play abgewickelt wird. Zahlungsdaten (z. B. Kreditkarte) und deine Kaufhistorie verarbeitet ausschließlich Google (Google Ireland Limited) als eigenständige Verantwortliche. Die App erhält von Google Play lediglich die Bestätigung, ob die App freigeschaltet wurde, und speichert diese lokal. Es gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Google.
Schriftart (Google Fonts)
Ist die Schriftart „Nunito“ noch nicht auf deinem Gerät gespeichert, lädt die App sie von Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) herunter und speichert sie danach lokal. Dabei erhält Google technisch bedingt deine IP-Adresse. Es werden keine Inhalte oder Nutzungsdaten aus der App übertragen. Es gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Google.
Internetzugriff und Berechtigungen
Die App benötigt Internetzugriff für die Verbindung zu Google Play (Preis anzeigen, Kauf abschließen, Kauf wiederherstellen) und, wie oben beschrieben, zum einmaligen Laden der Schriftart. Weitere Berechtigungen: Abfrage des Netzwerkstatus (technisch für die Kaufabwicklung) und die Google-Play-Abrechnung. Die App fordert keine Berechtigungen für Standort, Kamera, Kontakte, Mikrofon, Speicher oder Benachrichtigungen an und verwendet keine Werbe-ID.
Kinder
Die App richtet sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren und erhebt wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern.
Deine Rechte
Da wir keine personenbezogenen Daten über dich speichern, können wir Auskunfts- oder Löschanfragen nur insoweit beantworten, als uns keine Daten vorliegen. Deine lokalen Daten kannst du jederzeit wie oben beschrieben löschen. Bei Fragen erreichst du uns unter agappsat@gmail.com. Du hast außerdem das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren (in Österreich: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
Änderungen
Sollte sich die App so ändern, dass Daten erhoben werden (z. B. durch Absturzberichte), wird diese Erklärung vorher aktualisiert.

Instead does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no server of our own, no ads and no analytics or tracking tools. Everything the app remembers stays on your device only.

Data stored by the app
The following information is stored locally on your device only so the app can work. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties:
- Progress: collected minutes, number of completed activities, your day streak and the day of your last completed activity
- Whether the app is unlocked
Your selection (time and categories) is not stored. You can delete the local data by clearing the app's storage in the Android settings or by uninstalling the app. Android may back up app data to your Google account as part of its system backup ("Auto Backup"); you control this in your Android settings, and Google's privacy policy applies.
In-app purchase via Google Play
The first activities are free. After that, Instead is unlocked with a one-time purchase that is handled entirely by Google Play. Payment details (e.g. credit card) and your purchase history are processed solely by Google (Google Ireland Limited) as an independent controller. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play whether the app has been unlocked and stores it locally. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Font (Google Fonts)
If the font "Nunito" is not yet stored on your device, the app downloads it from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) and then keeps it locally. For technical reasons, Google receives your IP address in the process. No content or usage data from the app is transmitted. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Internet access and permissions
The app uses internet access to connect to Google Play (showing the price, completing and restoring the purchase) and, as described above, to download the font once. Other permissions: reading the network status (technically needed for the purchase) and Google Play billing. The app does not request permissions for location, camera, contacts, microphone, storage or notifications and does not use the advertising ID.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Since we do not store any personal data about you, access or deletion requests can only be answered to the effect that we hold no data. You can delete your local data at any time as described above. For questions, contact us at agappsat@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Changes
If the app changes in a way that data is collected (e.g. crash reports), this policy will be updated beforehand.
